Emma Watson‘s decision to focus on her studies and gain a degree at Brown University was a bold one. However, from the sound of it, she was not having an easy time. She has been facing down daily heckling from her peers. Her brightness and ability to answer questions in class drew mockery from fellow students who responded with things like “3 points to Gryffindor!” when she got an answer right. Watson has recently announced her decision to leave Brown to “completely finish my work on Harry Potter and to focus on my other professional and acting projects.” She is very firm about her plans to return to Brown in the future to finish her degree.
Lindsay Lohan, shortly after landing her first acting gig in some time, ran into trouble. Disagreements this week between “Gotti” director Marc Fiore and Lindsay’s management got her bumped from the project. But, Lindsay didn’t take this decision sitting down. She fought her way back into the role, and as of today, has been re-hired.
Actor (and sometimes writer) Ethan Hawke announced this week that he and his wife, Ryan Shawhughes, are expecting a child. This will be Hawke’s fourth, with two children from his previous marriage to Uma Thurman.
