One Bag, Three Ways

We think our Nicki Calfskin Leather Tote is crazy versatile! It isn’t highly embellished or decorated, so its minimalist exterior means that it goes with everything so easily. This bag, which retails for only $79, comes in real leather, and it has a roomy exterior which means its great for carrying baby stuff, office files, schoolbooks and daily essentials. We styled the bag three different ways so you can get a taste for just how diverse this bag really is.

Look One: The Partygoer

Look Two: Office Maven

Look Three: Casualista

The stars and their stylists keep their respective fingers on the pulse of fashion at all times. This season, everyone is favoring the maxi skirt. The maxi skirt can be a big style statement, but it’s also a cozy garment that offers good coverage. Check out our gallery of star’s sporting maxi skirts and get inspired for spring!

Trending Now: Metallics

We noticed a new trend from the Spring/Summer 2012 runway: head-to-toe metallics. That means sprucing up your hair with a twisted gold headband, throwing on a bronze shift dress and pairing it all with high-heeled pumps in a metallic shade. Glisten and gleam this spring with this hot new trend. We recommend checking out some of our Metallic Handbags to accessorize this look.

Edgy Style from Nicky Hilton

Take an acid washed, skintight dress and pair it with a grey leather jacket for a look that emulates Nicky Hilton’s edgy fashion. Black ankle boots and a black motorcycle bag are all you need to complete the look. Oh, and don’t forget the giant sunglasses! Those are always a must. For the bag we recommend our popular Grand City Vertical Leather Bag which can give a tougher vibe to any outfit.

Street Style Inspiration

Need a little style inspiration this week? Tired of looking at red carpet photos that leave you disappointed because you can’t afford thousands of dollars to look the same? Check out celebrity’s on the street, wearing their own clothes and sporting their own looks. This is a refreshing change of pace from all of the glossy adverts and media images that we’re constantly bombarded with. Even on the street, they look fantastic, but these are looks that are much easier to incorporate into your everyday wardrobe instead of those haute couture red carpet gowns.

One of the biggest trendsetters in the entire world is Alexa Chung. She has single-handedly inspired legions of followers to her eccentric brand of hip style. We thought she sported the more perfect festival outfit ever, which is perfect because festival season is upon us. SXSW has started in Austin, TX which will be followed by fests like Coachella, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. Get a handle on Chung’s festival style by pairing her proto-punk look with a chic crossbody bag, like our Ultra It Flap Chain Bag.

How to Wear Brights This Season

Bright colors are all the rage right now, and we’re not just talking about neon. Though neon is a huge trend for spring, there is a whole range of radiant reds, yummy yellows and beautiful blues to incorporate into your spring wardrobe. Check out Nicole Richie in a retro-inspired mustard yellow dress. This is the kind of stuff you should be wearing for Spring. It’s light, youthful and easy to wear. We thought her outfit would look great with a retro top-handle tote like our Vivienne Top Handle Bag.
