Style Stealer: Kate Moss

Does Kate Moss ever look bad? It doesn’t matter if she’s caught out and about in a pair of pajamas and a ratty t-shirt, she still manages to make any ensemble look exponentially more glamorous. Her killer style gives us the envy virus, big time. But, they say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so we will imitate this awesome outfit of hers for a confidence boost of our own.

Mean Old Madge

Madonna’s ability to stay relevant in the media seems only to revolve around her controversies. When, on the heels of Angelina Jolie, Madonna announced her desire to adopt, people everywhere rolled their eyes. It seemed an obvious publicity stunt, but when the adoption process became fraught with problems, the world started taking notice.

All eyes were on Madonna in 2009 when she was finally allowed to adopt a daughter from Malawi. Her new daughter, Mercy James, has managed to stay out of the proverbial spotlight until now. According to Mercy’s Malawians relatives, Madonna has reneged on an agreement she made to allow them regular contact with Mercy.

Madonna now faces legal action for not complying with the agreement. Madonna has not allowed Mercy to have any contact with her biological family since her adoption.

Will the courts side with Madonna, a mega-powerful star, or with the Malawians relatives? Who do YOU side with?

Bag of the Week: Classic Chic

We were inspired by the Spring runways when selecting this week’s bag pick. Predominant spring trends run to the three C’s: Classic, Clean and Chic.

Top fashion designers like Nina Ricci, Collette Dinnigan, and Chloe created spring looks that are breezy, crisp and beautiful. With a dominating palette of cream, white, beige and tan, you can be sure that old-fashioned upper crust fashions rule the streets this Spring. Our pick for the perfect spring bag comes from our new inventory: The Very Inspired Leather Bag

Don’t steal boyfriends! Instead, steal your boyfriend’s style! Lindsay Lohan: International Jewel Thief?

Lilo should be careful calling the police and reporting the paparazzi when she’s in possession of stolen goods! It has been reported by a store Lohan recently visited in Venice Beach, that after Lohan wore a necklace in the store, it turned up missing. This piece of jewelry is worth $5000 and the store wants it back! With security camera footage of Lohan wearing the necklace, the store has some proof to back up its claims.

Lohan has been known to make off with jewelry, accessories and clothes from previous photo shoots before, much to the chagrin of the magazine editors who put her in their top stories. We know a sense of entitlement tends to follow the rich and famous – who can afford everything but get most of it for FREE anyway – but this is ridiculous! Is her career so ruined that she can’t afford her own jewelry now?

SAG Award Style

It’s award season, and it’s our job to bring you the best fashions from the red carpet. The Screen Actors Guild Awards, a major Hollywood event since 1995, brings the celebrities out in droves. What makes this event special is that the awards are chosen by an actors’ peers rather than by the public or by an Academy. This is the night where the stars of Hollywood get to pick who shines the brightest among them.

This season, we saw a lot of restrained refinement on the SAG Awards carpet, and lots of elegant dresses in subdued colors. Here is a round-up of the best looks from the night:

Rosario Dawson

Naya Rivera

Natalie Portman

Mila Kunis

Julia Stiles

January Jones

Hilary Swank
